We are coming up on a year with our son Xavier being part of the Hoops Academy Development League, and it has been such a rewarding experience! The weekend games are always fun, well-organized, and full of energy. More importantly, Xavier has truly developed. Not just in his basketball skills, but in his confidence. Coach Han is absolutely amazing! He consistently offers support and encouragement, even while providing corrections. Hoops Academy creates an environment where kids can grow while still having fun. It’s been amazing to watch Xavier improve week after week, and he looks forward to every session. Hoops Academy has been the perfect balance of skill-building and fun competition. Our son is having an awesome experience with Hoops Academy! Coach G and the other coaches have been great! He's having a blast, and he has made incredible improvements in teamwork and self-discipline. The practice and games are set up so they're enjoyable for kids regardless of skill level, which is important to keep everyone motivated and engaged. The coaches not only focus on teaching fundamentals but also create a positive environment reinforcing the value of teamwork and sportsmanship. We've witness the entire team progression over the last months, their confidence have improved, and they are now able to execute both offensive and defensive strategies. The in-house league (and the referees) is a real plus -- fun for the kids and families. We really recommend Hoops Academy!! ~ María G

I cannot say enough great things about Hoops Academy. My son has been enrolled in a few different basketball programs in Brooklyn and I think Hoops Academy is clearly the best one. Coach G, A and Lel are excellent teachers - they are incredible at showing the kids the fundamentals of the game of basketball. They are very detail oriented in all of their teaching and great at teaching kids of all levels. They are also great at showing “tough love” for the kids and expect the kids to be disciplined, display sportsmanship and to be good teammates. My son has learning disabilities and they have been particularly excellent at pushing him and maintaining high expectations for him, while teaching him in a way that is conducive to his learning style. ~ David K
